In a high-precision semiconductor plant, a critical incident arose when a highly acidic process pipe developed a leak. With production continuity at stake, a full shutdown was not feasible, presenting both operational and safety challenges. To address the situation, our customer conducted a comprehensive pre-survey and leakage assessment of the affected area. Based on these findings, a composite box-up repair solution was implemented using Alchem’s C-SmartSeal products delivering a durable repair that restored integrity and safety while ensuring uninterrupted

operations.
