MECSEALANT RETAINING COMPOUNDS
​MECSEALANT Retaining Compounds are designed to seal and secure non-threaded cylindrical shaft-shaft liner assemblies. Anaerobic Retaining Compounds are used to fill inner voids between two components and cure to form a strong precision assembly. They protect your systems by preventing loosening caused by vibration, shock, or flex.

PRODUCT RANGE
We have 4 types of retaining compounds that help you assemble cylindrical shafts safely. MECSEALANT Retaining compounds are available for normal use, low/high viscosity situations and high temperature applications.
MRC603 – OIL-TOLERANT, LOW VISCOSITY GAP FILLING RETAINING COMPOUND

Suitable for: Bearings, close-fitting cylindrical parts and similar

High strength, low viscosity

High oil tolerance. Can be use in both – oily surfaces and inert surfaces

Seal and secure cylindrical assembly under 0.13 mm diametrical clearance
MRC638 – HIGH VISCOSITY GAP FILLING RETAINING COMPOUND

Suitable for: Shafts, gears, pulleys, cylindrical parts and similar

High strength, high viscosity

Tolerates minor contaminants from various oils such cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion, and protection fluid

Works on active and passive substrate

Seal and secure cylindrical assembly under 0.26 mm diametrical clearance
MRC648 – HIGH TEMPERATURE GAP FILLING RETAINING COMPOUND

Suitable for: Gears, sprockets, engine parts and similar

High strength, low viscosity

Withstand high temperature up to 175 °C

Tolerates minor contaminants from various oils such cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion, and protection fluid
